Crew Lead - Landscape Foreman

Location: Middletown, PA (serving Lancaster, Harrisburg, & Surrounding Areas)

Home Grown Outdoor Finishes is one of the most recognized professional landscape and hardscape companies in the region, known for Responsiveness, Integrity, Quality, and Excellence. We are not a typical \"ragtag\" landscape company; we operate with professionalism, clear expectations, and a strong customer experience. We do not lay off in the winter. Our teams transition into commercial snow operations and equipment/facility maintenance during the off-season.

Lead a crew of 1-3 team members in landscape installation and maintenance with a strong focus on quality, professionalism, and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

Softscape installs, mulch beds, plantings, pruning
Decorative garden walls / small retaining features
Workflow planning and material coordination
Customer communication and reporting
Snow Removal in Winter. This may include overnight, early mornings, and extended shifts during snow events.

Qualifications

High School Education, minimum of 2 years of landscape or related experience.
Professional demeanor
Math and measuring skills
Experience driving a pickup truck/trailer combo is required.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with a clean driving record
Background check upon conditional offer of employment
Smartphone/data device capability for field communication
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions

Pay & Benefits

Full-time, W-2 year-round employment with snow work in the winter
Pay: $21 to $25/hr + strong weekly performance bonus, creating a realistic feasible earning of $55,000 - $70,000
Overtime
Paid Vacation - 80 hours annually, with an additional 8 hours at 1 year of employment. (maxing at 120 hours after 5 years)
Unpaid Vacation - 80 hours annually
Paid Sick time - 24 hours annually
Health Insurance Reimbursement - one-half of the monthly cost up to $150
401K Match - 100% match on the first 3%, 0.5% on the next 2% contributed for a total of 4% match on 5% contribution
Paid Holidays - New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve day
Employee Referral Bonus Program
Uniform Program - covers 50% of the weekly rental cost (employee contribution is optional and not required for the job)
